• After 35 years, our Foundation decided to update its heraldric crest. • When my son asked me to trace our family history, I had no idea it would take me around the world on a trip to Switzerland and Austria. Tracing our history to 1534 in Zofingen, Switzerland resulted in locating the family Shield in a book and on a wall in the archives of a Swiss library. How often can you give a gift for diverse individuals where the same gift is absolutely perfect for everyone? This was it! Thank you, Susi, for enriching our understanding of heraldry and creating this antique of the future for our family. It was a priceless culmination of my over 2,000 hours of genealogy work.

  As we sat appreciating the symbolism of the colors and objects we commented how lucky our family was in the symbols within our Coat of Arms with references to: loyalty, peace, sincerity, generosity and elevation of the mind. Our stars could symbolize celestrial goodness, a noble person, spirituality or some Divine quality bestowed from above. We rejoiced that these symbols had once been recognized as family traits and 500 years later were values still cherished. Susi Galloway took our family history and symbols and transformed them into a new art form through the beauty of her brush for us to cherish forever. Thank you, Susi."
